How Zoiko
Access works

Zoiko Access is designed to help people understand healthcare options and coordinate supported next steps. First, choose where you need care. Then explore published service information, use an authorized route to contact or request from a participating organization where available, and follow status reported by the responsible organization. Features and eligibility vary by location; clinical decisions remain with healthcare professionals.

The journey at a glance

Four steps. Clear expectations.

Read the guide in order, or jump to the stage you want to understand.

01

Choose your care location

Select the location where you need care to understand which information or services are supported. Choosing a location does not establish eligibility or grant account or medical-record access.

Location is context—not permission, identity, or eligibility.

02

Explore published options

Review published information about healthcare services and care pathways. Where approved local directories exist, their listings must identify source and currentness; a listing does not confirm availability or clinical suitability.

A listing is not a recommendation or confirmation of availability.

03

Start an authorized next step

Where the service is approved and operating, follow the available inquiry, referral or appointment-request pathway. Your request is not confirmed until the responsible organization explicitly accepts or confirms it.

A request requires an authoritative decision by the responsible organization.

04

Understand what happens next

Where supported, follow the status provided by the responsible organization and understand who owns the next action. A delivered message is not proof that a clinician has reviewed it.

Electronic delivery does not establish clinical review.

01 / LOCATION

1. Choose your care location.

Select the location where you need care to understand which information or services are supported. Choosing a location does not establish eligibility or grant account or medical-record access.

Choose where care is needed, independently of the language you read. No IP address or GPS location is used to determine entitlement.

Context first. Permission separately.

Language preference

Determines reviewed page language—not service access.

Data residency

Is governed by the applicable authorized service—not this selector.

Eligibility and identity

Require their own verified conditions before an operational action.

Four conceptual stages: choose care location, explore published options, start an authorized next step, and understand what happens next

02 / INFORMATION

2. Explore published options.

Review published information about healthcare services and care pathways. Where approved local directories exist, their listings must identify source and currentness; a listing does not confirm availability or clinical suitability.

Check the source, its currentness, and its local scope. Published information does not diagnose your needs or recommend a provider’s clinical suitability.

03 / AUTHORIZED NEXT STEP

3. Start an authorized next step.

Where the service is approved and operating, follow the available inquiry, referral or appointment-request pathway. Your request is not confirmed until the responsible organization explicitly accepts or confirms it.

This educational page does not submit inquiries, referrals, or appointment requests. Operational actions require a separately approved service and, where applicable, verified identity and delegated authority.

Inquiry

A request for information through an approved contact process. It does not establish a care relationship or appointment.

Referral

A locally permitted care handoff. Delivery and acceptance by the receiving organization are separate events.

Appointment request

A request to a participating provider where scheduling is authorized. The provider must explicitly confirm an appointment.

04 / RESPONSIBILITY & STATUS

4. Understand what happens next.

Where supported, follow the status provided by the responsible organization and understand who owns the next action. A delivered message is not proof that a clinician has reviewed it.

Statuses below are definitions, not a patient timeline or the state of an actual request. Each real update needs an authoritative source and clear responsibility.

Illustrative meanings—not live case information

SubmittedA request has been sent through the authorized workflow.
ReceivedThe destination acknowledges receipt. Clinical review is separate.
Accepted / confirmedThe responsible organization explicitly accepts or confirms the relevant action.
Follow-up neededThe responsible team requires another permitted step or clarification.
Closed / canceledThe source reports closure or cancellation; its meaning depends on that workflow.

Care remains with healthcare professionals.

Clinical decisions stay with care teams.

Authorized healthcare professionals and organizations remain responsible for clinical review, diagnosis, treatment, interpretation of results, and acceptance of care.

Zoiko Access does not replace clinical judgment or provide emergency response. For urgent medical needs, contact appropriate local emergency or urgent-care services.

Personal information and delegated access need care.

This guide asks for no symptoms, identity documents, medical records, or patient details. Share information only through an appropriate authorized process.

Helping someone else does not automatically grant access. Caregiver, guardian, or proxy authority requires verification and applicable local safeguards.
